Junior Training

For Primary School Aged Students 6-11yrs 


The focus of our Junior athlete development program is building the fundamental movement skills of Run, Jump and Throw, which underpin the basis of every sport. We have an integrated training approached which is centred around games based training and fun!

We know from years of research from the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) and Athletics Australia that the majority of successful athletes come from a multi-sport/multi-event background. For this reason, we are offing junior training to develop an athlete who can enjoy running, jumping and throwing


This Program is perfect for developing the fundamental movement skills required for all sports

What you can expect: 

Sessions are designed to for maximal participation, enjoyment and skill acquisition. During these hour sessions participants will be introduced to an agility warm up, transition into a variety of games based training of Run, Jump and Throw activities with the introduction of correct technique and concluded with an active cool down. But most importantly you can expect your child to have fun!



Training day: Monday

Training Times: 4:15pm - 5:15pm

Location: Pizzey Park (map below)

What to bring: running shoes and a water bottle
