It All Starts With Doing Up Your Shoe Laces

Every run starts with doing up your laces, here are four ways to lace your shoes to ensure comfort and to help prevent injury.

1. Shoes feeling too tight

The first thing you should try is loosening your laces. If that doesn't work you should try this parallel lacing technique.

2. Black toe nails or sore toes

Try offloading the pressure on your toes by zig-zagging one of the laces and running the other on a diagonal.

3. Heel slipping

Commonly referred to has the "runners knot", provides an extra lock around the heel.

4. Wide Feet

Simply, just miss the first couple of holes and give the foot a little bit of space.
